Rules to quickly determine if a number is divisible by another number.
| Number to be Divided | Divisibility Rule |
|---|---|
| 2 | Unit digit = 0 or 2 or 4 or 6 or 8 |
| 5 | Unit digit = 0 or 5 |
| 10 | Unit digit is 0 |
| 3 | Sum of digits is divisible by 3 |
| 9 | Sum of digits is divisible by 9 |
| 4 | Last 2 digits are divisible by 4 |
| 8 | Last 3 digits are divisible by 8 |
| 6 | The number is divisible by both 2 and 3 |
